I start this posting with an photograph taken on the Burnside bridge while waiting for river traffic to pass. Despite the weather it is still beautiful in the Pacific Northwest so take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you.
Another rainy Sunday but the difference was brunch with friends and a bit of a spectacle. Today is Portland's Gay Pride and after brunch we watched a bit of the parade. I'm normally not much of a parade person, they all seem the same and this was no different but the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence caught my eye (they always do). They're a non-profit organization that focuses on awareness and assistance to the gay community, plus they've got great presence. Who says that charity isn't glamorous?
