2011, Day 148 - Concussions of color

Memorial Day weekend is also when we celebrate the Rose Festival here in Portland.  Normally I don't like to leave the house if I know there are going to be fireworks because Stubbs melts into an eighty pound puddle of greyhound mess but tonight I decided that I would go because my presence provides no real comfort.  Unfortunately they started the fireworks earlier than posted in their schedule of events but I managed a few good pictures despite my rush to get set up and little time to check the results.
