I wonder if I miss things sometimes when I am focused on little details. Missing the forest for the trees, so to speak. This is one of many crab spiders I found while in El Salvador and Mexico last fall. They were everywhere and every time I found a bigger one I wanted a picture. They all look pretty similar but I can't help myself. This guy was eating something tasty and didn't mind having an audience at all. I don't know why he has a triangular abdomen, it must aid in camouflage but I can't imagine how.
