2010, Day 218 - Swarms everywhere

In my usual running around today I stopped off at my friends' house to let their dogs out as they were out at the coast for the day. Given today's Daily Shoot assignment I was wandering through their garden and this is what I discovered...

Insects are everywhere. Photograph a bug in your environment (no spiders - they're arachnids).

The only bug I found and it was just a fly.

No bugs, just an oak-leaf hydrangea.

And from yesterday just to torture those readers who hate spiders...
