I can't help but think about the coming of Halloween. Today it was cool and really windy and it reminds me of ideal weather for trick-or-treating with leaves blowing across the road and candles flickering in pumpkins. And what better for Halloween than a big fat spider? Because of the strong gusts many of the spiders abandoned their webs for more secure shelter out of the elements but I found this brave soul and coaxed him in for a little session. He obliged but I think was overwhelmed by the attention and I suspect he was relieved when I returned him safe and sound to his web.
