2013, Day 143 - Waiting

Tonight was the kickoff the the Rose Festival which mean fireworks!  I went with my friends Julie and Nicole to stake out our spots and while we waited for the action to start I tossed on a little black glass and set up a long exposure.  These filters give a definite blue cast but I like it, there is a cool moodiness to the images.  I don't know if I got any good fireworks shots this year, the barge was in a new location and possibly too close but I will look more closely another time...
