2013, Day 154 - Cascading

I love macro photography, the world looks so different when you view it from inches away.  Hidden complexity is revealed and the ordinary becomes exceptional.  When a child draws a flower it is a simple thing but when you look more closely there are intricate systems that help to make it successful in its native environment.  I've been giving this a lot of though recently as I continue to work at landscaping my yard.  It has been a lot of work but is extremely rewarding and I think it looks just as good close up as it does from a distance.
