2013, Day 163 - Waxen

As I was leaving my appointment to have color added to my new tattoo I noticed that the water lilies in the pond were just starting to open.  It has been raining and the light was reflecting nicely off the droplets on the pads in the background.  The flower is so new and unblemished, so lustrous  it almost looks like it was artfully created from wax.
