It seems spring is determined to wrest the Pacific Northwest from winter's grip. There are flowers popping up everywhere and the fruit trees are beginning to bud and shortly they will be in full bloom. It is hard not to be enchanted by the flora at this time of year and I admit to an almost singular focus on the newly arrived bursts of color.
