2014, Day 50 - Harken

It seems like spring is fighting to wrest our part of the world out of winter's grip.  I am not sure that it is winning the battle but I appreciate the effort.  Spring rains seem to be here and while they're not as frequent as they sometimes are it makes up for the brevity with ferocity.  But the flowers are opening in defiance on winter, like little soldiers, they are taking up the cause.  I am ready to welcome spring with open arms!
