2014, Day 161 - Allure

There is something about grass that is immediately evocative for most people.  Usually the sweet smell when freshly cut coupled with the faint scent of exhaust from the lawnmower that did the cutting.  We can feel it under our feet, soft and warm in the summer sun maybe with the slow rising humidity of evaporating water.  To me grass seems like a high maintenance ornament, I would rather have something more exciting in my yard but I understand its allure.
