Today I drove to Washington out in the country via a long circuitous road so that I could photograph the racing at SilkenFest, the yearly national meet for silken windhounds. I stopped by the side of the road near Spanaway while the sun was making its way to the western horizon when I found these daisies. I know they are invasive and they crowd out native plants but it doesn't stop them from being beautiful.
