2014, Day 181 - Tutus

Flowers are like little dancers who sway in time to the melodies played by the winds.  They bob and spin and in their final act they die.  In their prime they are glorious but it is fleeting and that is why we treasure them.  It seems odd that we should offer flowers to the people we love because while they're beautiful it is a fleeting beauty and our love is, or should be, constant.  Still, they are rare jewels and should be treasured.
