2014, Day 208 - Valley

Between South Sister and Broken Top is Green Lake.  The hike to the lake is a steady uphill until the final stretch where the trail goes up steeply and comes down into this alpine valley.  Here the air is crisp and smells of frost.  The mountain you see pictured is South Sister and she blocks the view of her sibling North Sister.
