2012, Day 217 - Study in green

I found this katydid hanging out in my bathroom a couple of days ago.  He appeared and disappeared over the past few days and today I decided that it probably needed to be placed in the yard and set free.  Still, I felt that he owed me a little bit so I made him pose for a little studio session and this is what came out of it.  Yup, he is grooming so that he would look good for this closeup.
