2012, Day 234 - Final approach

"Skill" strikes again!  Insects in flight are hard to capture, they can change directions so quickly making anticipation almost impossible.  I came upon this bunch of poppies with only one flower left and noticed the bee bobbing in and out of my framing so, composing with my right eye and my left open to watch outside the frame, I waited.  Sweat was beading on my forehead and finally the bee returned to the lone flower and I took six frames in rapid succession.  Hooray!
