There is nothing that signals the start of summer so clearly as the bobbing heads of white and yellow in the fields. They dance in the breezes that bring us respite from the year and make an otherwise dull landscape look so much more lively. I love watching the wheat fields surging in the wind but the wildflowers are just as beautiful, it is like looking at a reef with coral and anemones waving in the swells as the tide changes.
