2012, Day 212 - Fading

The heat is coming...  We have enjoyed a nice cool summer so far in Portland; the mornings have been brisk and that afternoons warm.  It has been ideal but I understand that the heat is coming and some of the flowers are already showing signs of exposure.  Soon the grass will start to fade and the petals will drop and for months there will be nothing to look forward to until the cool nights come again and the first maples start to show a hint of yellow...
